Ask ANVL

The box on Home is a conversation. Ask, plan and discuss, order a deck out of what you have talked about, and decide what ANVL is allowed to remember about your company.

The box at the top of Home is where most things in ANVL start. It is a conversation, not a command line: you can ask it where something is, ask it what you should post this month, talk a pitch through slide by slide, and — when the two of you have got somewhere — have it build the thing.

What you can do in it

Ask

"Where do I change my password?" gets an answer and a button to the place. Questions about ANVL are answered from its own help pages, so what it tells you is what the product does.

Get advice

"Which posts should I make this month?" or "what should the first slide of a sales deck contain?" are answered as a colleague would answer them — numbered suggestions, built on your brand and on what you have already made, with any assumptions said out loud.

Order

"Make a pitch deck about…" starts a short exchange rather than a build. ANVL asks what it cannot guess, shows you the deck it has in mind, and builds only when you press the button. See Ordering in the conversation.

Teach it

Say something lasting about your company in passing — how many you are, a certification — and ANVL asks whether to keep it. What it keeps, and what it will never keep, is in What ANVL saves about you.

Where the answers come from

Three places, and it is worth knowing which is which when an answer surprises you.

Your brand kit is the ground under every piece of advice about content, tone and audience. Your projects are read when the question is about what you have — "what have we written about before?" is answered from your actual decks and posts, not from a guess. And questions about the product are answered from ANVL's own help pages.

ANVL does not invent figures about your business. If it does not have a number it says so, or asks.

It is saved

Everything you write in the box is kept as a conversation you can come back to. Where they live, and how a short answer turns into a thread, is in The conversation.

Language

ANVL answers in the language you write in. If your workspace is in English and you write in Swedish, the reply is in Swedish; the buttons and the top bar stay in the language the app is set to.
