Glossary
The words ANVL uses for its own parts — brand kit, workspace, deck, portal — and what each of them means here.
Words ANVL uses in a particular way. Where a term means something narrower here than it does generally, that is what this page is for.
- Brand kit
Your colours, typefaces, logo, tone and image style. Not a settings page: it is what every presentation, post and page is built out of. See Brand kit.
- Workspace
Your company inside ANVL — the people, their roles, and the material they share. Everything that affects everyone lives here.
- Account
Your own sign-in and security. Everything that affects only you.
- Seat
One person in a workspace. An invitation that has not been answered holds a seat too. See Seats.
- Deck
A presentation. Used loosely for any of the multi-slide formats — pitch, sales deck, report.
- Superbrain
What ANVL has worked out about you from your brand kit and your corrections, and takes with it into what it generates. See Superbrain.
- Brand portal
A public page showing your brand, that you can send to a supplier without giving them an account. See The public brand portal.
- Layout
The shape of one slide, saved for reuse. Not to be confused with a template.
- Template
A whole presentation saved to start from again.
- Review
Asking someone to approve something before it goes out. Anyone can ask, and whoever it was sent to answers — a person, a group, or the workspace's admins when nobody is named. See Projects and review.
- Passkey
The fingerprint, face or screen lock you sign in with instead of a password. See Passkeys.
- Presenter view
The second window with your notes, the next slide and a clock, on your screen only.
