Invite your team
Add the people you work with, decide what each of them can do, and put them into groups you can send work to.
Once there is something in your workspace worth looking at, bring in the people who will work on it.
Do the brand kit first. An empty workspace with five people in it is five people looking at nothing.
Adding someone
From Workspace: their email address and a role. Somebody new to ANVL gets an email with a link to set their account up; somebody who already has an ANVL account is simply added, and will find your workspace waiting the next time they sign in.
An invitation takes a seat straight away, and the dialog tells you which one you are spending. If somebody never answers, you can free the seat again.
Two roles
- Editor
Makes things, asks for review, and answers reviews sent to them. This is what most people should be.
- Admin
Everything an editor can do, plus managing people, seats and groups. Have two or three, not one.
More on what separates them in Roles.
Groups, once there are enough of you
A group is a name for several people, used when you send something for review so it is one choice instead of six. Not worth setting up on day one; very much worth it the third time you tick the same four names.
Who does not need a seat
Anyone who only needs to see the finished thing. Send them the file, or send us for a brand portal link if what they want is your colours and logo. Seats spent on people who never sign in are the usual reason a workspace runs out of room.
