FAQ

The questions that come up most often, answered short.

Does changing my brand change things I already made?

Yes. Presentations and pages read the brand kit each time they are opened, so a colour you fix reaches everything — including what you made last month. A file you already exported does not change. See Changing your brand later.

Why does what I generate not sound like us?

Almost always the brand kit rather than the prompt. Tone, messaging and guidelines are what ANVL writes from, and if they are thin the writing will be too. Superbrain shows you what ANVL currently believes about you, and lets you correct it.

Can I see what ANVL thinks it knows about us?

Yes — that is exactly what Superbrain is. Every fact says where it came from, and you can fix, pin or strike out any of them.

Someone needs my colours and logo but should not have an account.

Ask us for a brand portal link. It shows the brand and nothing else, and you say which sections it should include and whether it should expire. Creating it is something we do for you.

I signed in on another computer and got signed out here.

That is how it works — one session at a time. Sign in again; nothing is lost.

Who can approve what I send for review?

Whoever you send it to. A colleague or a group — reviewing is not a role. If you do not name anyone it goes to the workspace's admins, and admins can answer anything either way.

If you are not an admin, the one thing you cannot do is approve your own request. Admins can — otherwise a workspace with a single admin could never approve anything.

Do people who only read things need a seat?

No. Send them the exported file, or ask us for a brand portal link. Seats are for people who make things.

Something did not generate. What now?

Ask for it again. If it fails a second time, tell us what you asked for: hi@anvl.work.

Can I present from my phone?

You can show from a phone — a finished deck opens one slide at a time. Editing needs a wide screen.

Something here is wrong.

Tell us: hi@anvl.work. Say which page and what you expected — that is usually enough to fix it the same day.

Still stuck? Write to hi@anvl.work and tell us what you were trying to do.
