Slide layouts
A bank of reusable slide shapes in your brand, so the same kind of slide comes out the same way twice.
A slide layout is a shape rather than a slide: a title with a picture, a three-column comparison, a quote across the width. The bank holds the ones that work for you, in your brand, so the same kind of slide does not get reinvented every time.
Layouts belong to a frame shape. A 16:9 layout is offered in 16:9 decks and a square one in square posts — which is why the bank looks different depending on what you are making.
Filling the bank
Two ways in, and the second one is the useful one:
- Generate a set
ANVL makes layouts from what it knows about your brand. A reasonable starting bank in one go.
- Save one from a deck
You built a slide that came out right — save its shape and reuse it. This is how a bank becomes yours rather than generic. Slides built freely can be saved; ones already based on a layout cannot.
Who can change it
Anyone who can make things. The people who notice a layout is missing are the people making slides, so there is no separate permission for it.
Keeping it small
A bank of sixty layouts is a search problem. The useful bank is the ten or fifteen shapes you actually reach for, and pruning it is worth doing occasionally — a layout nobody picks still costs everybody a moment of looking at it.
