The image bank, where pictures come from, and how to give ANVL your own.
Every picture ANVL can use lives in one place, under Brand kit → Images. Your uploads — wherever you made them: here, in the site builder, as a logo, as an attachment in the conversation — and the pictures ANVL generates are all in the same grid, with filters and folders rather than tabs.
That is on purpose. Curation is a state, not a place: an image being yours, or approved, or for this campaign is something true about the image, not a folder it has to be moved into.
Where pictures come from
- Your own
Upload them. This is the best source and the one to use whenever you have it — a real photograph of your real work beats anything generated.
- Generated
Every picture ANVL generates — for a deck, a post or a page, or in the generator on this page — is kept here as a draft, in the folder Genererat. Approve the ones you want ANVL to use freely. When a new build needs the same subject in the same format and image style, ANVL reuses the picture it already made, draft or not, instead of drawing it again.
- From your website
When ANVL reads your website during setup, up to seven of its pictures arrive as drafts in the folder Sajten. Pictures you upload in the site builder land there too.
There is no stock library, on purpose. Stock photography does not look like your company, and having it as an option is enough to make it get used.
Almost everything arrives as a draft: uploads from this page, attachments in the prompt box (in the folder Bilagor), pictures from your website and your brand guidelines, and everything ANVL generates. ANVL does not use a draft on its own. Upload twenty photographs and none of them reaches your next deck until you approve them. This is the step people miss.
Exceptions: a picture you attach to a request, or add to a proposal in the conversation, is used in that build, and a picture ANVL generated earlier can be reused for the same subject.
Image style, and where it applies
The Image style section of your brand kit describes how your pictures should look — the tonality, what should and should not appear in them, how close the crop sits, and a prompt and a negative prompt you can write yourself. Colours are not set here; those live in the Colours section.
It governs the pictures ANVL generates while building a deck or a page. Fill it in and those stop looking generic.
The Generate button on this page works differently: it sends the prompt you type, and only that. Your image style does not reach it. So if a picture generated here comes out wrong, the prompt is the place to change it — and if pictures inside your decks keep coming out wrong the same way, Image style is.
Your website's pictures are not here
Reading your website at setup takes three things — your logo, one hero image and your favicon — and puts them on your brand profile. It does not fill the image bank.
So if you want the photographs from your site available to ANVL, upload them. It is worth doing, and worth being selective: an old hero image nobody has looked at since 2019 is worse than none, because once it is approved ANVL will happily use it.
